Terms of Use

1. About Rekko

Rekko is a recruiting marketplace that connects Nordic technology companies ("Companies") with independent specialist recruiters ("Recruiters"). Rekko is operated by its founder, based in the United Kingdom. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Rekko website at rekko.dev and any associated services.

By accessing rekko.dev or registering for early access, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Early access

Rekko is currently in pre-launch. By registering for early access, you acknowledge that:

• The full platform is not yet available and features may change before launch
• Early access is offered at Rekko's discretion and may be withdrawn at any time
• Rekko makes no guarantee of platform availability, timing, or specific features
• Early access pricing and terms are subject to change before the full launch

3. For companies

Posting roles

Companies may post roles on the Rekko platform subject to the following conditions:

• Role descriptions must be accurate and relate to genuine, open vacancies
• Bounties must meet the minimum floor set by Rekko (currently €5,000)
• Companies must have the authority to make a hire and pay the agreed bounty
• Companies may not use Rekko to collect candidate data without genuine hiring intent

Payment

Companies agree to pay the bounty they set when a candidate introduced by a Rekko recruiter is hired and starts employment. Payment is due within 14 days of the candidate's start date. The 90-day refund guarantee applies where stated — if the hired candidate leaves within 90 days of their start date, the full bounty will be refunded.

Exclusivity

Rekko operates on a non-exclusive basis. Companies remain free to hire through other channels simultaneously. However, if a candidate is introduced by a Rekko recruiter and subsequently hired through any channel, the bounty remains due.

4. For recruiters

Eligibility

Recruiters must be approved by Rekko before accessing live roles. Approval is at Rekko's sole discretion. Rekko reserves the right to reject applications or revoke access at any time.

Candidate submissions

Recruiters agree that:

• All candidate submissions represent individuals who have given genuine, informed consent to be represented for the specific role
• Candidate information submitted is accurate and provided with the candidate's knowledge
• Recruiters will not submit the same candidate to multiple roles without the candidate's explicit consent
• Recruiters will not share candidate data outside the Rekko platform without consent

Fees

Recruiters are entitled to 80% of the bounty paid by the Company for any hire they introduce, paid via Stripe in three instalments at 30, 60, and 90 days after the hire is confirmed. Rekko retains 20% as its platform fee. Fees are only payable on confirmed hires where the bounty has been received from the Company.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not use Rekko to:

• Post false, misleading or fraudulent roles or candidate profiles
• Circumvent the platform to arrange direct payments with the other party
• Harvest candidate or company data for use outside the platform
• Harass, spam or misrepresent yourself to any candidate, company or recruiter
• Violate any applicable law, including employment law and data protection law

Rekko reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in breach of these conditions without notice.

6. Intellectual property

All content on rekko.dev — including the Rekko name, logo, design, and text — is the property of Rekko and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

Rekko is a marketplace and does not employ recruiters or guarantee the outcome of any hiring process. Rekko is not liable for:

• The quality, suitability or conduct of any candidate introduced via the platform
• The quality or conduct of any recruiter operating on the platform
• Any hiring decision made by a Company
• Any loss of income by a Recruiter resulting from a role being filled or withdrawn

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rekko's total liability to any party shall not exceed the fees paid to Rekko by that party in the preceding 12 months.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Rekko after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
